Hyde Park View is locally owned and operated by Elim Lodge Inc., a Saskatoon-based charitable corporation with more than 40 years of experience in senior living. Elim Lodge Inc. is governed by a Board of Directors which is comprised of members from its supporting churches.

Yes. Life-Lease Suites include one indoor parking space and storage. Indoor parking spaces are numbered and have a storage area adjacent to the parking space. See the Flooring Plans tab for a view of the indoor parking area – click on Parkade Floor Plan. Storage areas are 3 feet x 9 feet in most cases.

Maybe, no guarantee. Sometimes residents rent out their parking space if they do not have a car and this opens up a space for residents with a second vehicle.

Hyde Park View is part of the Saskatoon Crime Free Multi-Housing Program. This is a program organized through the Saskatoon Police Service. The purpose of the program is to ensure the safety and security of residents who reside in multi-housing buildings like ours. One of the requirements of the program is for potential residents to provide a Criminal Occurrence Security Check. This is one of many requirements for a building to obtain certification.

The Security Check is obtained at the Saskatoon Police Service building at 76 – 25th Street East. Two pieces of ID are required, one of which must be photo ID. A driver’s license and health card are the most common forms of ID. An application form must be filled out. A fee is payable by cash or debit card. If the results are clear, your record check will be returned to you within minutes. If you have further questions, you can call the Police Service at 306-975-8305.
The monthly life-lease fee is lower than market rental rates. Current rates are provided during suite tours.

Water and sewer are included in the monthly fee. Electricity is not included. Each suite has its own electricity meter and you are billed directly from Sask Power.

Basic SaskTel Cable is included in the monthly fee.

No. The resident supplies their own washer, condensing dryer, refrigerator and stove. Sometimes, these are available for purchase from previous residents. The microwave and dishwasher are built in.

Rental apartments range from 680 sq. ft. up to 907 sq. ft.

Residents have eight meal credits per person included in the monthly life-lease fee. Additional lunches and suppers are available for purchase.
